Digital artworks inspired by Ann’s interest in experimenting with colour and its optical effects, combined with the processes of deconstructing, and reconstructing subject matter. Ann finds inspiration through digitally altering photographs of her work and taking objects out of their original context. Through the processes of reimagining, repetition and digital experimentation combined with the use of intense saturated or non-realistic colours new artworks emerge. The resulting altered images change familiar views of objects, urban spaces and natural landscapes alluding to new interpretations of abstraction.
